If you can count 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1, you can change your life.

You Want This 5-4-3-2-1

You know you need to do something to make money

You plan and try but nothing gets done yet

You still broke and not make enough money to fulfill your dream

Or to buy the car you want Or to live with the person you love

I have to tell you and I know it’s strange

But knowing what to do will never get you success!!

To become successful is not as simple as “Just do it”. 

If it is that simple, then why aren’t everybody all be successful and all live in their dream life?

Must something not, right? 

That’s why in searching of the solution in my early years when I was broke

I found Mel Robbins’s 5 seconds rule

She said something must happen first before you will take the action

The way your brain is wired is to decide what you should really do and what is your feeling say you want to do. 

Sad, the truth is

9 out of 10, your feelings are going to win your to-do list

That’s why you need something to help you win the battle

That’s the secret of the 5 seconds rule

When you know you are supposed to do something

Or you have impulse to do something good

Count 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1

And then do it before your brain kill the idea

This is actually a Pattern Interrupt technique that helps you to take action when you don’t feel like to

I use that first for morning wake up and it works day after day

You can use it in every aspect of your life too

It just need 5 seconds

Tomorrow, if you are also struggling to get out of bed,  trust me we always struggle in something, use this 5 seconds rule and try it

Do you list all the To do list and by the end of the day, only a few of them or nothing get done?

Use the 5 seconds rule to break out of your old pattern and do the one you list in the To Do list

Again, I tell you Knowing what to do is not enough

What we need is something to break our current state, So what we need is something that’s going to launch us like a Rocketship Launch countdown 5-4-3-2-1

From the state of feeling laziness Into a state of action. 

Because if you’re sitting around waiting for motivation, you know it is useless

Try the technique and it will work

The problem is that if you don’t start doing the things you don’t feel like doing, you will wake up 1 year from today and be in exactly the same place as you are. 

Whenever you are ready for your next To Do action or have impulse to act on a goal

Remember, you must physically move within 5 seconds or your brain will kill the idea

You need to play tricks with your brain

This also works if you don’t even know what to do

Say if you have a dream of online business, you have no idea where to start, you have an impulse of achieving your goal, then you can Google it and research for info in the area of your interest…

When you have a to-do list, impulse to do something, or simply try to wake up in the morning with hitting the snooze

Do this count 5-4-3-2-1 pattern interrupt, to win over your feeling of don’t want to take action

Once you break your pattern, you stop your brain from killing the right idea, then your physical move will build new habit

When you do something you don’t use to doing, you are in fact erasing the old habit and build a new one

The fact that you take this time to read this blog or watching the video tells me that you are already taking the action to invest in yourself
